In what capacity can lawyers express an opinion on legal aid insurance services, even though they are likely to be mandated by one or other of the companies concerned? There is a clear conflict of interest which implicitly questions the relevance of the opinions expressed. On the other hand, it is the insured who should have been consulted, only they are able to give an assessment based on concrete experiences.
